This Cookie Policy describes how the Kiero OMS platform (kiero-oms.pl) uses cookies and similar local storage technologies when Users access the Service. The use of cookies complies with the EU ePrivacy Directive, GDPR, and Polish Telecommunications Law (Art. 173).

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on the User's end device (computer, phone, tablet) by the website server. Cookies store information about the user's activity on the Service (e.g., session ID, language preferences, authentication status). Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and device identifiers – used in Kiero OMS exclusively for necessary functions (storing the client-side session token).

2. Types of cookies used

The Kiero OMS platform uses only two categories of cookies:

Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)

Files absolutely critical for the functioning of the Service. These include: the authenticated user session token (httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict; expires on browser close or after 7 days with 'Remember me'), CSRF token preventing cross-site request forgery attacks, language (locale) and theme (light/dark) preferences stored in localStorage, and the cookie policy acceptance flag. These files are essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled without losing its functionality.

Analytical and performance cookies (consent required)

Cookies collecting anonymous data about how the Service is used. Installed only after the User's consent via the cookie banner or in account settings. These include: anonymous data about visited pages and time spent in the Service, page load performance data, information about errors occurring in the Service. This data does not contain information that could identify the User and is used solely to improve the platform.

3. Managing cookies and withdrawing consent

Users have full control over analytical cookies. Consent can be withdrawn at any time: (1) via the account settings panel in the 'Privacy & Cookies' section; (2) by redisplaying the cookie banner (link in the Service footer); (3) via web browser settings – instructions for popular browsers: Chrome (chrome://settings/cookies), Firefox (about:preferences#privacy), Edge (edge://settings/privacy), Safari (Preferences > Privacy). Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent logging in to the Service and using its features.
