InPost lockers: the pickup point code is stored with the order
The InPost locker code is now stored directly on the order and passed automatically when a label is generated.
InPost lockers: the pickup point code is stored with the order
We improved InPost shipment creation for locker deliveries. You can review and edit the pickup point code in the order card, and Kiero OMS will use it automatically when generating the label.
What changed?
After selecting a locker delivery, the order shows a pickup point field, for example KRA010. The code is normalized to uppercase and saved with the order.
When the label is generated, the code is sent to InPost. For a locker shipment, the customer’s street address is not required; the pickup point code and recipient contact details are required.
How to use it
Open the order shipping details, select an InPost locker, and enter its code. Save the change, then generate the label with the InPost button.
Good to know
Without a valid locker code, the request is stopped before it reaches the carrier. A full recipient address is still required for courier delivery.
