Etsy receives tracking after a label is created

What changed?

After a shipping label is created successfully, Kiero OMS can sync the tracking number, carrier and ship date to Etsy. Etsy can then move the order to shipped and notify the buyer.

Benefit

You no longer need to copy the tracking number to Etsy manually after preparing a label. Shipping information stays consistent between OMS and the sales channel.

How to use it

Create a label for an Etsy order as usual. The worker adds a synchronization job, and after it runs the tracking number is sent to Etsy. Retrying the job should not create a second update.

Important limitations

The integration requires reauthorizing Etsy with the transactions_w scope. If Etsy does not list the carrier, OMS sends it as other while keeping the original tracking code. Creating a label does not confirm that the parcel was physically handed to the carrier.
