Global search opens an object directly without browsing through multiple modules.

Supported objects can be found by distinctive data such as order number, SKU, EAN, product name or customer data. Results depend on the user's permissions and current organisation.

Good practice

Start with the most specific identifier. If there are many results, refine the query with a number, SKU or fuller name. Search never bypasses access controls.
