Transaction risk analysis
This module helps organize order-risk signals and supports manual review of unusual situations. It does not replace the merchant's decision: the analysis is an operational indication, while your company decides how to handle the order.
1. What does the module include?
- Risk analysis card — order-related signals and context available while working with an order.
- Attention indicators — highlights situations worth checking before continuing fulfillment.
- Event logging — a way to record relevant events according to your internal procedure.
- Access control — data is available within the organization's permissions; visibility depends on account configuration.
2. How to use the analysis
- Open an order and review its risk analysis card.
- Read the displayed signals and the order context.
- Compare the result with your own payment, delivery, and returns procedures.
- Make an operational decision and record an event when your procedure requires it.
The analysis is not an automatic refusal decision or proof that a buyer acted improperly. Before changing the payment method or putting an order on hold, verify the reason and follow your company's applicable procedures.
3. Example use cases
- additional review of an unusually high-value order;
- checking a cash-on-delivery order before preparing shipment;
- recording relevant context about an earlier order event;
- routing a case to the person responsible for risk operations.
4. Common issues
- I cannot see the analysis card — make sure you are viewing order details and that your role has access to the module.
- The result needs clarification — treat it as a prompt for manual review; do not decide solely from a color or label.
- I cannot record an event — check organization permissions and complete all required fields.
The recommended practice is to document an internal procedure: who reviews signals, when they contact the buyer, and who approves a change to the order's fulfillment method.
